The new CID BE-LS Cylinder Heads are almost ready for production. A joint effort between myself, my brother Michael of ICE Ignition and BES Racing. Luckily for me, Michael had Tony build an engine to go racing in True Street back in Australia. This engine build has spawned the development of BE - LS manifold and now the BE - LS heads. Tony wanted to build the best Inline LS platform available. With results of 1100+ HP and 740 Ft/LB from 457 CI, there's no doubt we achieved what we set out to do and surprised many along the way.
This was possible due to our work with BES and the excellent design work from our Computer Aided Design Engineer. We ran stress analysis simulations on the casting to help produce the most structurally sound LS cylinder head on the market today. We didn't want to second guess anything, and CAD modelling is the only way to help take the majority of the guess work out of the equation.
There's a good reason you don't see this level of performance from our competitors manifolds and cylinder heads, just as you don't see this level of design detail from any of our competitors. One goes hand in hand with the other, as do the relationships built over the last 20+ years with some of the worlds most talented engine builders.
All finished BE LS cylinder heads will be CNC ported and machined by BES Racing. At this level of performance, the attention to detail required can only be developed from many years building some of the winningest engines in various classes of motorsport. The same expertise will also ensure the BE platforms continued development, and keep it on the leading edge of LS performance cylinder heads and manifolds.
Available only from BES Racing & CID Heads in the US. In Australia BE LS cylinder heads will only be available through ICE Ignition. All original CID BE LS heads have our CID logo cast into the end of the cylinder head.
